Brad has this goofy little courtyard in between the main house and garage. The area really needs help, but it definitely has potential. The garage has ivy covering a majority of it (which I love), and with a little more rain and sun, it should cover the whole thing. There is also a really cute walkway to the street. It would be great to use this as a place to eat or read.
The plan is to make a Provençal-style garden area. I want to gravel the entire area and definitely get rid of that bench/hoopah/arbor thing. Then I just need some garden furniture and some odds and ends like lanterns, candles and pots and it will be ready to go for Spring!
Next renovation: Garage becomes art studio. Stayed tuned in 2020.
See before pictures (in Brad's defense, this was before he renovated the house):

I bet that will be so awesome! Lately I have noticed that both World Market and JC Penney have some really inexpensive outdoor/indoor furniture, so you should check it out!
