Flashback...to the 90s

Lately, I have noticed a store that had quite a cult following at some point in the 90s making appearances in the likes of Elle, NyMag, etc...so, I thought I would investigate. I can't say I have been in one of the chains outposts since maybe the mid 90s, but I was pretty impressed at what I saw online (and the prices especially).

Gadget style

Ever since I saw this picture yesterday in The Satorialist, I have not been able to get my mind off trench coats...They are such versatile items and will really never go out of style, I love an item you can't call a trend. I have a black one that I get a lot of use out of on dreary days or even j days where I just need an extra light layer. Now I'm on the hunt for a khaki one, a shorter version like the one above...it seems they are everywhere and at every price point so it shouldn't be too hard!

DVF

I'm not normally the biggest DVF fan, but because I'm really into prints these days, I thought I would check out her current line. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see some cool prints and not all in that jersey wrap dress...

Choosing Favorites

I always feel this constant need to pick my favorite designer. I don't know why I act like I'm going to be interviewed tomorrow and need to think of an answer. Anyway, sometimes I think it's definitely Darryl Carter. Then other times, I think I'd answer Kay Douglass. But right now, I am in a very serious Kathryn Ireland phase. Here's why:
