Notable weekly meal...

I went to dinner at Casellula, a delicious wine and cheese bar in my 'hood, last night; and they happened to have a cheese from Sweet Grass Dairy. I forgot how delicious their cheeses are and how lucky we are to have such a wonderful place in little old Thomasville, GA. It's amazing how you can find their cheese across the country these days...pretty neat. On top of that, the rest of our meal was amazing too, maybe if you come to visit I will take you there. For now, some pictures to wet your palate.

Just realized our 'host' of the evening was actually the manager/owner...impressive resume.

Old favorite and new updates

I noticed that one of my favorite home designers, Benecki Fine Homes, just updated their website. Which reminded me of one of favorite houses in one of my favorite places, the Benecki's house on Lake Martin in Alabama.

Querida Brighton...

This post is dedicated to you, querida, because it's all about fashion from your part of the world (not yours for long though!!!) Anyways, its also a double post, because one idea triggered another and I don't have the willpower to hold one post over until tomorrow.

This first label, Uvaia, was brought to my attention this morning via Daily Candy. Its a Brazilian label created by sisters from São Paulo... The second label is from my favorite store in Buenos Aires, Complot. I am really into the vivid prints and 80's influence of both of the lines. While all together it may seem a bit jumbled, both of the lines have pieces that are great for mixing and matching with more the more classic staples in your closet. Enjoy! (and go get me that leopard cardigan from Complot immediately!)

Trend Watch...

Lately, everywhere I look I've been seeing the 'strong shoulder' trend in action. At first, I have to admit I wasn't crazy about it; it reminded me of my mom's shoulder pad blazers from the 80s. But now, I have to say, I'm getting into it....

And cheap to boot!

Since my new job is proving to require boots, here are some under $100. And one pair that is so cute I'll pay more.

Zara September Lookbook.

Looking through Zara's new look book has left me wondering how quickly I can make it to their store on 5th Ave... With clothes like these appearing at a place as accessible as Zara, I'm suddenly no longer dreading the turn to a frigid Winter.

This last pic is actually from the Zara online catalogue...but I thought it was too cool to not include.
